A veteran of the financial services sector, Michael Mongin is Senior Vice President, Advanced Planning & Wealth Advisor at Moran Wealth Management. Mike delivers the most important financial advisory element – high quality information and integrated planning – across multiple wealth disciplines including investments, retirement, wealth transfer & estate planning, business succession, philanthropy, and many other financial issues. Mike’s lifelong ambition has been to serve as a leader in the advisory profession providing valuable assistance helping people improve their lives and the lives of their family.

Mike has over 30 years’ experience in Private Wealth and Financial Planning with BA from Hartwick College in political science and business management as well as a JD from Albany Law School (NY). Mike also holds the advanced professional credential CPWA® (Certified Private Wealth Advisor®) designed for seasoned professionals with advanced education to enhance expertise in investment management technical design, legacy issues, human dynamics, and specialized client services to meet the complicated needs of exceptionally successful individuals and families.

Motivated by the desire to solve clients’ unique financial problems, Mike’s financial advisory career began in New York as a partner in The Ayco Company, the premier financial planning and family office division of Goldman Sachs. After 15 years, Mike was offered the opportunity to join the Wells Fargo Private Bank in Orlando as the Sr. Wealth Planning Strategist leading the comprehensive planning services provided to private bank clients in Central FL. Mike went on to become the Senior Wealth Advisor for GenSpring Family Offices’ Orlando division leading the comprehensive wealth and financial planning advisory practice for the multi-family office’s ultra-high net worth families. Mike is now responsible for the comprehensive wealth and technical planning advice at Moran Wealth Management®

Mike’s community involvement includes serving the Gulfshore Playhouse Board of Directors as a member of its Planned Giving Committee, volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and past serving as a Board Member and Officer for regional American Red Cross affiliates.
