Community Leadership & Initiatives

2023 Community Needs Assessment

After five years, it is time to take a new snapshot of Collier County—of the gains and remaining gaps.

The process, in partnership with Q-Q Research Consultants, will use the same components as the original study: research and data, focus groups, and surveys. Community partners will again include local funders, the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation, and the Collier Community Foundation.

This process will take place over the next several months, with the new report projected for completion in August/September 2023.

The 2022-23 survey is now closed. Thank you for the input of so many Collier community members.

The Original 2018 Collier Community Assessment

The original year-long community needs assessment study project initiated by the Collier Community Foundation and the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation presented a detailed portrait of Collier County and its residents. The survey report informed the Community Foundation’s discretionary grant-making resources on partners and programs in ten strategic areas that address our community’s significant needs.

Your passion. Your Collier.
